During our recent stay at Le Castel Marie Louise, we found the staff to be genuinely helpful and accommodating, embodying the essence of Relais & Chateaux quality. The location of the hotel is truly prime, nestled in beautiful grounds; however, we couldn't help but notice that the decor felt a bit outdated, raising a question mark on its 5-star status.Our room was spacious and elegantly decorated, providing a comfortable retreat. The restaurant offered superb dining experiences, showcasing local and seasonal ingredients. While the cuisine was exquisite for a night, it might be seen as overly intricate for consecutive evenings. Kudos to the attentive staff who assisted us in finding suitable alternatives.In terms of value, the hotel excels in providing top-notch amenities such as a bar, Wi-Fi, and flat-screen TV. The paid shuttle service and laundry facilities were convenient additions, enhancing the overall guest experience. If you are looking for a luxurious stay with attention to detail, Le Castel Marie Louise is a solid choice despite its potential for some modern refurbishments to better align with its pricing.
